Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
These terms cover your use of Complaint Index (https://thecomplaintindex.com), run by Complaint Index. By creating an account or buying access, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Complaint Index is
Complaint Index collects public complaints and requests from around the web and uses AI to turn them into scored business ideas. Some ideas are free to view; a one-time purchase unlocks all of them.
Ideas are a starting point, not advice
Ideas, summaries, and scores are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or already pursued by others. Nothing on the site is business, financial, or legal advice. Do your own research before acting on any idea; you are responsible for your own decisions.
Your account
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account is for one person. Please don't share your login.
- Give us a working email address so we can reach you about your account.
Purchases and lifetime access
- Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- “Lifetime access” means access to all ideas on Complaint Index for as long as we operate the site, with no recurring charge. It is a personal license for your own use.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
What you may not do
- Copy, scrape, resell, or republish the ideas or the database in bulk.
- Use automated tools to download content from the site.
- Try to get around the paywall or break the site's security.
- Use the site for anything illegal.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without a refund.

Our content
The site's design, code, and the ideas and scores we generate belong to Complaint Index. You're welcome to use any idea you find here to build your own business.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the site running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Complaint Index is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.
